Zainal Abidin Bin Abas

Pengerusi

Zainal Abidin bin Abas telah dilantik sebagai Pengerusi Perkhidmatan Antarabangsa SOS pada Julai 2010 dan bertanggungjawab atas halatuju syarikat dan perniagaan serta pertumbuhan di pasaran tempatan.

Selepas tamat pengajian pada tahun 1977, Zainal memulakan kerjayanya dalam industri telekomunikasi. Ketika bersama Airod Sdn Bhd, Malaysian International Consultants Sdn Bhd dan Telekom Malaysia, Zainal telah berjaya mengetuai dan melengkapkan banyak projek telekomunikasi dan pelaksanaan. Zainal menyertai Isolectra Malaysia Sdn Bhd sebagai Pengurus Besar Jualan pada tahun 1997 dan dinaikkan pangkat menjadi Pengarah Urusan pada tahun berikutnya . Zainal membawa bersama 34 tahun pengalaman berharga beliau dalam pembangunan dan pengurusan perniagaan, serta pengurusan projek dan operasi.

Zainal memegang Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains dalam Kejuruteraan Elektrik dari Universiti Southern California, Amerika Syarikat. Beliau gemar menghabiskan masa melakukan aktiviti kecergasan dan kesihatan, dan aktiviti pembaikan rumah. Ketika lapang, beliau meluangkan masa untuk membaca dan bermain golf.

Abdul Aziz Bin Ali

Pengarah

Abdul Aziz Ali telah dilantik sebagai Pengarah untuk Perkhidmatan Antarabangsa SOS pada bulan Julai 2010. Pakar dalam pengurusan jualan, pengurusan akaun, dan strategi pengurusan rakan perniagaan, terutamanya dalam sektor telekomunikasi dan sektor awam, pengalaman yang dimiliki oleh Abdul Aziz memanfaatkan syarikat dalam menguruskan jualan kompleks dan penglibatan akaun.

Abdul Aziz merupakan graduan lulusan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains dengan pengkhususan dalam Perakaunan dari Universiti California State, Amerika Syarikat. Beliau memulakan kerjaya dalam industri ICT sebagai Pengurus Akaun di Applied Business Systems Sdn Bhd. Abdul Aziz kemudiannya melebarkan sayapnya dalam bidang pengurusan dan pembangunan jualan di Informix Malaysia dan CS Technologies sebelum beralih ke Cisco Systems Malaysia Sdn Bhd, di mana beliau menyeliakan operasi saluran dan perniagaan penyedia perkhidmatan. Abdul Aziz adalah penyokong amalan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat dan senantiasa aktif menimba ilmu dan pengalaman di waktu lapang.

DR. CHAN YANJUN

Medical Director, Singapore and Malaysia Assistance Centres

Dr. Chan Yanjun was appointed as the Medical Director of Medical Services & Response Centre of Perkhidmatan Antarabangsa SOS (PKA.SOS) in November 2018. She oversees the delivery of quality medical services across all the medical sites of PKA.SOS in Malaysia and leads the Response Centre Medical Team in case management.

Dr. Chan dedicates her time in reviewing emergency practices and response procedures, conducts site audits and health reviews as well as devotes her efforts in learning and development of PKA.SOS remote site Medics & Response Centre Medical Team.

Dr. Chan joined International SOS in 2016 and accepted the challenge in working closely with PKA.SOS remote site Medics in looking after patients in the offshore and remote locations. Her main focus areas are Occupational health medicine and the practice of medicine in offshore & remote environments and industries such as oil & gas industry.

Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Chan has been working in tertiary government hospitals and private medical centres of substantial period of her time in Malaysia. Her experiences in the healthcare industry ranged from general medicine to anesthesia, intensive care, emergency medicine and trauma medicine.

Dr Mohd Khairi Bin Abd Latif

Chief Medical Advisor Executive Director

Dr Mohd Khairi was appointed Chief Medical Advisor and Executive Director of PKA.SOS effective 1st July 2021. He holds the Doctor of Emergency Medicine from National University of Malaysia, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from International Islamic University Malaysia.

Dr Khairi has 20 years of experience gained from various government and private hospitals, academia and United Nations (UN) missions. These include the Ministry of Defense as Head of Accident & Emergency unit posted with United Nation Medical Centre of Laayoune; the Ministry of Health as Emergency Medicine Physician for National University Hospital, Kuala Lumpur Hospital and Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital; and the Ministry of Education as Senior Lecturer for Faculty of Medicine and Defense Health in National Defense University Malaysia and UTAR.

Prior to joining PKA.SOS, Dr Khairi leads the Central Medical Facility (CMF) for Pengerang Integrated Complex (RAPID) in Johor as Medical Centre Director cum Emergency Remote Physician. His responsibility includes ensuring that the medical treatment and interventions at the CMF are in compliance with international and national standards.
